House Rules (download)
Decades Collective
At Decades Collective, we strive to create a safe and comfortable environment where everyone
feels free to try new things, learn, and grow. Therefore, we have established the following house
rules:
01
Comfort and participation: Participants are encouraged to actively engage in the
sessions but should only do what they feel comfortable with.
02
Respectful behavior: Participants must treat other participants, teachers, and staff with
respect. Abusive, discriminatory, aggressive, or intimidating remarks and behaviors will
not be tolerated.
03
Following instructions: Participants are required to follow the instructions of Decades
Collective's teachers and staff for their own safety and the smooth conduct of the
session or course.
04
Timely attendance: Participants should arrive on time for sessions and courses. If
someone arrives late, the teacher may determine whether participation is still possible,
depending on how disruptive this is to the session or course.
05
Missed sessions: During the first session of a course, agreements will be made
regarding how participants should report missed lessons and how absences will be
handled.
06
Personal hygiene and clothing: Participants are expected to maintain personal
hygiene and wear appropriate, clean clothing during the session or course.
07
Use of alcohol and drugs: The use of or being under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or
other intoxicants during participation in a session or course is strictly prohibited.
08
Confidentiality of information: Participants must treat personal or sensitive information
shared by other participants during the sessions confidentially.
09
Privacy and devices: The use of mobile phones, cameras, or other electronic devices is
not permitted during the session or course unless explicitly allowed by the teacher.
10
Responsibility for damage: Participants are required to handle the property and
materials provided by Decades Collective with care.
11
Health and safety: Participants must inform Decades Collective or the appointed
teacher in advance of any health issues that may affect their participation. Participation
is at one's own risk.
12
Exclusion for violation: If a participant's behavior leads to a violation of the house rules
or disrupts the order during a session or course, Decades Collective, including appointed
teachers, reserves the right to deny further participation to that participant.
What to do in case of incidents or concerns
If something occurs during a session or course that you would like to discuss or report, you can
always contact the teacher or a staff member at Decades Collective. Additionally, you can
confidentially report any incidents or concerns via email at hello@decadescollective.com. We
take every concern seriously and will do our best to work together towards a suitable solution.
